Our Philosophy on the Art of Fulfillment

Anthony Robbins says that achievement is a science, but fulfillment is an art. We believe that this art has three elements to it:

  1. Awareness: By maximizing how fully we "show up," we open ourselves to an unlimited abundance of bliss in every moment
  2. Holistic Well-Being: We experience the world with our physical bodies. Transcending our physical limitations enables us to break through mental and spiritual barriers
  3. Creativity and Giving Your Unique Gift: Each one of us feels a deep need to contribute to others and the world as a whole. This retreat will give you the gift of finding a new and unique expression of your life's purpose

Successful people are well-rounded, active, and they embody total wellness. Some may attend the retreat for the sole purpose of the creative goal writing, others for the wellness classes which range from yoga to nature walks, others for the poetry craft talks and painting instruction amidst beautiful natural scenery. Think of the retreat as a re-balancing act for becoming centered.

About the Retreat

This innovative program is designed for individuals who seek balance in their life. You are invited to spend two weeks in a beautiful remote location in Italy, to dine on healthy food and work your body so you feel fantastic. You are invited to spend this time in an empowering routine where you work creatively and write out goals for your life. You will be given strategies for becoming certain that you will overcome your challenges. These two weeks will mark the transformation of your personal and creative life.

This is not a spa retreat -- it is a unique experience for you to live and work  (both creatively and personally)  in one of the most beautiful natural locations in the world.

Who Should Apply

Successful applicants range from professionals seeking a break from their routine, yoga practitioners who want a peaceful vacation, writers wanting time to develop their craft to non-writers who seek to optimize their feelings of gratitude and abundance. Retreat Outline

The trip is designed to change your life.

Each day will begin with expansive breathwork and yoga, followed by a lovely, serene silent breakfast. For those more accustomed to other forms of wellness, the yoga may be substituted with an activity of your choice, whether it is jogging or walking through the woods, or anything you desire.

During the morning time, you will focus your mind on planning the day's scope of activities, including the territory you will be exploring in your goal writing, reading, and discussion with the coordinators and your peers.

After breakfast, you will have the option of a self-discovery writing workshop to help you set vivid goals and write continuously until what emerges lights you up for the rest of the day. After writing, you are encouraged to go for a walk or run for a more bodily contemplation of your goals.

Then there will be a delicious lunch, followed by optional creative writing discussion where we read poetry and discuss, share and critique each other's work and work on the day's creative writing exercise. Or, if you would like, you may take this time to explore the property, to find a space to take in the ambiance and work in solitude on your creative writing project (personal assessment, poetry, journaling, or story writing) or your painting project (watercolor, gauche, or acrylic). Both coordinators are artists who have experience in a variety of media, and can meet with you one-on-one during a scheduled time each day to discuss your process and results.

Before dinner, the second session of yoga will take place. There will be time afterward to shower and get dressed. The time after dinner is designated for reading, writing, and total relaxation.

Retreat Concepts

First Concept: The Law of Expectation

The program is founded on a belief in the law of expectation which states simply that by anticipating what you want to happen, you make it happen. Writing detailed, achievable goals and scheduling them provides assurance that you can get what you want. Repeating this process daily with strong emotional connection puts you into a highly resourceful state where an abundance of ideas will occur to you.

Have you ever had the experience of a major revelation? How would you like to spend several hours each day in this highly charged emotional state? Through application of writing techniques, you can press yourself much further than you originally thought possible.

Second Concept: This Retreat is About You

This wellness and writing program is for individuals who want to take the next step in a powerful and tranquil environment to record their goals and move to the next level. We are all similar enough to want similar things, and many difficulties reaching fulfillment in life follow basic patterns which can be tackled by using simple writing and communication techniques, such as fear-setting (getting specific about the worst-case scenarios of taking a risk and then exploring what could be done in each of those scenarios to prevent or reverse any damage).

There are two trainers who will meet you where you are – you will not be pressured toward the correctness of any system other than ones that invite you to get (and give) the most out of life. This retreat is about you.

Third Concept: Tethering Your Life to Your Desires

Retreat participants are lucky souls. Because you will dedicate two weeks toward your personal growth seeking fulfillment, you will get to develop an in-your-bones feeling of certainty that tethers you to a life path of gratitude and contribution. By expending consistent effort in a peaceful and supportive environment, you will make innumerable discoveries and will have reignited the innate awareness and tenacious curiosity that propels both your mind and the world alike. You can expect to achieve far greater balance emotionally and energetically because you have spent time recording challenges as you decide to overcome them on your path to the inspirational source.

The coordinator will give you writing guidance and support so that you only need to return to your retreat journal to rekindle feelings from that moment in the retreat, thereby nesting the retreat's positive experience amidst a life even when fraught with turmoil and confusion. You can write your life's solution with your own hand.

Fourth Concept: Driving It Deep

Through the repetition of extended goal-setting sessions, you can be assured that after the retreat your actions will be in much greater alignment with your beliefs. As you write, you chart your progress and develop methods to tether you to the anchor that was dropped the second you followed through on this retreat.

Far greater than a vacation is the special kind of retreat that reminds you that your life is a treat, and that the precursor to the vacation was a treat as well. When you return home, you will take back strategies for reaching fulfillment that is both flexible and motivating. You will gain leverage over yourself so that you are compelled to generate value in the lives of others. Your retreat journal is something you can return to, to bring the benefits of the retreat back to your life.  The purpose of anchoring yourself with the journal is to keep you inspired by and responsible to your desires so that you take the actions that lead to success and fulfillment.

Fifth Concept: Awareness and Detox

Awareness is the key for fulfillment. It is where to begin and sustain transformation in any area. Anyone can overcome any obstacle so long as they feel themselves fully. Challenges such as being emotionally unbalanced, not being fully integrated psychologically, torn between decisions, feeling overwhelmed, and of not having a sufficient level of energy can be transcended by rekindling your relationship with your own internal communication. By living in and exploring a serene, rustic natural environment, working your body physically, and retraining your associations by writing your way toward your goals, you will detoxify, and the obstacles to a life of curiosity and engagement will drop away, leaving you a little bit closer to the natural, ever-renewing state of bliss.

Sixth Concept: Gratitude

This is a true retreat – for a short time, you leave your routine responsibilities behind to set up new rituals. With new rituals comes greater certainty, which is the ground for feelings of satisfaction. There are few places in the world that offer such a supportive environment, offering healthy organic vegetarian cuisine to detoxify (emotionally, intellectually, and physically) in a soothing place.

Discover what you deeply love within the pursuits you already have. Nested within the habits that have not yet paid off there are empowering rituals that can keep you energetic and on track. The perfect practice at the retreat will drive deep the actions you take so that, enjoying them in the process, they continue to manifest as both positive and enjoyable. Doing what you love, you devote yourself endlessly and achieve fulfillment.
